At Applied Human Science, we strive to help managers think more clearly about the problems they must solve. We assist them in discerning the analytical and interpersonal complexities of the tasks they confront. We guide them through the cognitive and emotional thickets of the decision making process itself. Then we go on to help them sculpture pragmatic action plans and evaluate their outcomes.
During times of growth, constriction, change, conflict or contentment, our goal is to help managers mature, executives locate good judgment and organizations maximize the health, productivity and safety of their employees. We do so by helping them apply scientific research in neuroscience, cognition, behavior, emotions and social relationships to their daily operations.
Consultation services can be tailored to focus on various workplace topics such as improving management skills, enhancing motivation and productivity, dealing effectively with change, cultivating leadership potential, designing behavior safety systems, cultivating self regulated work behavior, managing conflict, minimizing workplace violence, facilitating teamwork, discerning and promoting ethical work behavior, blending employee competition with cooperation, implementing technology as a subset of human adaptability and developing basic work behavior skills, among others. Naturally, consultation services can be offered in concert with various training topics, such as those we have listed on the training page.
We have also found that executives and other mangers frequently benefit from a trusting relationship with a trained professional counselor who has experience in working with the unique blend of organizational pressures and interpersonal challenges that many people in positions of leadership experience. Applied Human Science also offers a variety of individualized counseling and mentoring services to meet such needs.
Additionally, Applied Human Science offers Employee Assistance Programs through services provided by Yost incorporated, a close affiliate. Yost Incorporated has been providing Employee Assistance Programs nationally to diverse industries for more than twenty years. The company currently has approximately sixty EAP service contracts, and through an extensive affiliate network, can provide services in communities located throughout the United States. Programs that combine management consulting, training and employee assistance counseling can certainly be designed to meet customer needs.
