Qualifications

Consultants providing services for Applied Human Science are graduate level professionals with experience in employee assistance, behavioral health and safety, organizational and management consulting, employee and executive counseling, supervisory and employee training, cognitive rehabilitation, clinical psychology, neuropsychology, social work and behavioral research. Other business and technical experts are utilized on project teams as needed.

Robert J. Brown, MA, is President and Owner. Mr. Brown has over twenty-five years of post-graduate experience that has included private practice, executive level management of employee assistance programs, clinical supervision, training, teaching, and research, as well as consultation with diverse industries concerning employee assistance, health, management and organizational issues. He is a member of the American Counseling Association, and an associate member of the American Psychological Association. He earned a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University in 1977, following a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Brockport in 1972.

Applied Human Science also maintains an affiliate relationship with Yost Incorporated, a national provider of employee assistance programs since 1983. Mr. Brown is a past President of the company and continues to provide management consultation services to the firm. The two companies work closely together on various projects of mutual interest. Employee Assistance, consultation, and training services have been provided to various companies and organizations.
